Gulches Park Conditions 13-15: Perfect. We are dry and all trails on the bottom are also, thanks to the much appreciated efforts of Bill Sosebee who has worked tirelessly to fix what I no longer can.

We have two groups coming in and camping. The University Of Clemson 4x4 Club is having their first appearance of the new year. We also have a group coming in who evidently are touring several southern parks. They are at Quarry Town OHV Club today. They arrive Friday for the weekend here.

Now a word to new off roaders to our park with late model full size quad cab pick up trucks. If your truck is stock with OEM or the equivalent size tires this is not the park for you. Your wheel base is to long and you will high center on most trails.(even the easy ones) Now if it has a lift, larger tires, skid plates and no step bar then you should be okay. When we built this park trucks were not that long.

For those of you who got rain last night great you needed it. But we did not get rain. Just a drizzle that barely knocked the dust down. Again we are in great shape. Big rigs are all ready in the park wheeling

Man I wish I could be there

So is there any camping left with the groups coming in? Maybe an RV and trailer?

How many acres is the park?

Is this one ok?

Why Should I Visit Gulches?

come ride with us…

First and foremost Gulches is a family park.  Kids of all ages from 4 to 94 can enjoy the atmosphere of camaraderie in our park and with our fellow off roaders. Our trails are created to excite even the newest to our hobby. Easy trails allow one to bypass around every advanced trail in the park to either continue or to stop and watch the big rigs play.

We are open every weekend of the year, weather permitting, allowing for off road enjoyment through all four seasons.

All first timers get an explanation to the trail map and signs.  Through our group of rangers we try to guide every new offroader though the park for a thorough orientation.

Our primitive camp sites are clean, quiet and private with facilities open 24 hours when campers are on site. A cabin is available for those less inclined to sleep on the ground.

This truly is a park for all size rigs and all driver skill levels.
